FilmAfrikana

FilmAfrikana is an independent film festival focusing exclusively on Afrikan film, made on the continent and in the diaspora. The main goal is to expose the Norwegian public to high quality films made by Afrikan film producers/directors that deal with cultural, political, sosio-cultural. The films aim at bringing a different perspectives to what is available in the Norwegiean market.

The festival is taking place in Oslo, Norway 28 March - 3 April 2011

The festival is currently working with Cafetheatret, that holds approx 90 people.
FilmAfrikana is a non-profit initiative, coming out of the annual cultural celebration Afrikan History Week. FilmAfrikana launched in 2010.
